www.thinkgeek.com: If you are looking for a gift for a geek friend, go to thinkgeek.com. You will find what you are looking for. From the tee-shirt to the lastest tech gadget. A lot of choice. Beware of the shipping prices (UPS).
www.despair.com: Despair is specialized in selling demotivation posters. Their site is very funny. Visit all pages if you want to know what the Despair spirit is.
Programming
groups.google.com: Newsgroups are the best source of information for the developer. 95% of my programming related questions found their answers in the newsgroups. with Google Groups, you can use the newsgroups in your browser, without using a newsreader.
www.mindview.net: If you want to learn C++, Java or Python, check the excellent books from Bruce Eckel. Electronic versions are available for free.
developer.apple.com: apple site for developer. IMHO, the reference every every aspect. Full documentation, frequent update, access to alternate media (video podcasts of developer conference lectures), and articles are downloadable as PDF files.
www.joelonsoftware.com: Joel Spolsky web site is a reference for 'Software management'. He describes his experiences and points to essential readings.
msdn.microsoft.com: The reference site for Windows programming. Even though it's a nice site with tons of information, I still wish it was as smooth as Apple's developer website.

www.opengl.org: The official OpenGL web site.
developer.nvidia.com: NVidia's developer site offer many precious resources for 3D programming using OpenGL and DirectX.
www.blender.org: After NAN went down. former CEO offered the open source community an opportunity to buy Blender 3D modeler and make it free and Open Source.
www.realtimerendering.com: The site of the book "Real Time Rendering" has a huge quantity of links about... real time rendering.
Video games
www.gamespydaily.com: All the news about video games, on all platforms. Updated several times a day.
games.slashdot.org: slashdot.org just launched a special site dedicated to video games. Its technical taste makes it the ideal companion of gamespydaily.com.
www.garagegames.com: Garage games is an independant game publisher. Like independant cinema, "indy" game developers and publishers offer games made with lower budgets than "big" studios, at a lower price, but fun and creativity are often there.
